Making it more exciting, more heavy metal, more epic…more.

Because sometimes less isn’t more.

Leave your assumption’s at the door.

Twisted? Only if you consider living in a land where horrible monsters try to claim your very existence, twisted.

Fairy tale? Try telling that to her...

I have no fear of the dark. It is my hope…I AM the dark.

About Tymothy Longoria

Tymothy Longoria has been described as a writer with a flair for the dramatic (whether this is true still remains to be seen). He is a fan of all things fantastic, metal music, black t-shirts, and aligns himself with geeks, nerds, and all manner of monsters, and is an ardent, optimistic supporter of his fellow creatives. He has written several short stories for the online macabre zine Underneath The Juniper Tree and in 2012 was awarded Debut Author of the Year by Twisted Core Press for 'Envy', his contribution to the Seven Deadly Sins Anthology. He is currently editing his full-length dark fantasy retelling, Revenants: Book One of The Stories. Fairy tales? If only. Legends will be reborn. Tymothy calls Texas home, where he lives with his wife, two children, and a cat called ThunderCat aka Kitty PawKitty. He is represented by Bree Ogden of Red Sofa Literary. What a cool picture, too. I was like, damn, nice work! Love the quote at the end. Cool video, but where is the rocking? I was waiting for it to suddenly break out and jam. That would be pretty epic. As is, it was still bad butt. Nice work. You made it sound great.

I’m still genuinely confused, though, about what exactly the novel is about. And is it part of a series or something? What would the genre be? I’ve just been curious about that stuff for a while.

Genre? You mean I have to pick a genre?

No, it’s epic fantasy, so fantasy. Book One is part of a planned trilogy with a prequel I hope to write, entitled The Stories:Histories.

The premise is this. Fantastic characters who you may remember from childhood are thrust into a world where they feel not only joy and laughter but pain and loss. A world where bleeding is real and fairy tales…aren’t even a thought. I think I’m pretty good with being vague. Until the book is published. The whole element of surprise thing.
